To celebrate Leap Day, the 4th graders designed catapults to launch frogs across the classroom! They could only use 9 craft sticks, 6 rubber bands and a plastic spoon. The longest leap was over 7 meters!
Happy Birthday, Ohio! #221. The 4th graders celebrated Ohio's birthday by making their own unique Ohio flags, finding interesting facts about Ohio, and eating cake, ice cream and buckeyes!
Leap Day in second grade was full of fun! We enjoyed learning all about Leap Day with some reading and math activities!

5A LEAPING for Leap Day. What a great group of kids❣️
On Thursday, March 7, the New Knoxville Bands and Choirs will be performing a concert for Music in Our Schools Month. The choirs will begin at 6:15 and the bands at 7:30. Concerts will be held in the small gym, and all family, friends, and community members are welcome to attend.
6th grade math students played a new game called "Conquest" to help them master how to solve equations. It's similar to the old board game called "Risk"!

In PE - students in grades 2-6 are working on their Mat Ball skills, students in K-1 are focusing on their balance, flexibility, and body control. Students and Mrs. Szymczak follow along with Jaime and CosmicKids yoga to help us work on lifetime fitness goals.
Tomorrow, Feb. 14 is the last day to sign up for the Bradie J Camps IF you want a T-shirt! Get those forms in! Late registrations will be accepted up until the day of camp but no T-shirts will be available.
