Thank you to Chris Davis for teaching us about soil and water conservation. We learned some valuable information. Plants are natural filters that keep water free of pollutants. A plastic bag takes about 15 years to decompose, styrofoam never disintegrates, and paper towels take about 2 and a half weeks. Recycling and reusing is an excellent way to practice conservation.
Proud of these fourth graders who put together a student led book club! They are reading STRANDED by Jeff Probst and Chris Tebetts.
The fourth graders finished up their study of the branches of government by really looking into the judicial branch. We held the mock trials of Curly Pig and Goldilocks, and performed for each other and the second grade classes.
